"Prodigal"
“Why are you here?” He looked at me with tears in his eyes and simply said, “For you, your girlfriend and your baby.”
Unable to respond with words, unable to think of anything except my Emma and our baby,
I collapsed into his arms and wept."
--Francis Williams
"Prodigal" is the story of a man, consumed with selfishness, who comes face to face and heart to heart with a
mysterious sidewalk counselor outside Hempstead Planned Parenthood.
It is told with compassion and tenderness emphasizing forgiveness.
This is a story of the unique and unrepeatable gift of human life.
"Prodigal is a story of hope."
Not the kind of hope that seems to good to be true, but the kind of hope that costs something.
The kind of hope that tries you to see if you are worthy of what it promises.
This skit is a marvelous story of the triumph of human love over selfishness.
It is an emotional story of the cost of true love and the sacrifices that it demands for those who wish to experience it.
In short it is the story of the journey every man--every person-- must make to understand what a life worth living is all about.
Are you ready to find out what the meaning of life is?
Unable to respond with words, unable to think of anything except my Emma and our baby,
I collapsed into his arms and wept."

What people are saying about "PRODIGAL"...
"Riveting. Absolutely riveting. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I didn't want it to end, but WOW, what an ending."
Deacon Ron, Curé of Ars
I was crying the whole time. I never, EVER, thought about women who are getting abortions in this way. I always vilified them. This skit made me see the error of my thinking, it made me see that these girls are human beings, in need of tender mercy and unconditional love. Thank God for this skit!
Patty, Bellmore
"You know, I didn't like the idea of going to an "abortion" skit. I know it's wrong, I don't need to think about it. But this skit, particularly the character of Francis Williams made me see this issue in a whole new light. There was nothing objectionable, nothing graphic, well unless of course, you consider LOVE to be offensive. I loved the skit and will never look about these poor kids in the same way again. I'm going to Planned Parenthood as well soon, not to judge, but to love these kids. That's what they need my LOVE."
Robert, Bellmore
"Powerful. Oh my gosh. Powerful. Every catholic...no, every person needs to see this. It will change your heart. My GOD, what love can do!"
Jessica, Stonybrook
